Update: we had to update the post because Wccftech mixed up the dates for A580 and A380.

Initial Intel Arc desktop launch and pricing emerges

According to the fresh report from Wccftech quoting their own sources, Intel has just provided a new launch timeline for its Arc Alchemist desktop cards.

Intel reportedly did not confirm the exact release date to its partners yet, but new cards are to be expected between late May and early June. This is when two cards are to be announced: the Arc A780 and Arc A380. Furthermore, it is said that A580, which is the mid-range GPU, would follow weeks later, most likely in July.

It should be noted that this is not the release date, but the time when the cards are to be announced. The sales embargo is mentioned within May 15th to June 30th range. Companies usually announce their products around two weeks prior to making them available in stores.

Interestingly, the site has initial pricing information for all three cards. The Arc A750 will reportedly cost 350 USD, while the A580 might retail at 280 USD. The cheapest card mentioned in the report is Arc A350 with 150 USD price.

While Intel has not confirmed its desktop Arc lineup yet, it seems that at least 7 SKUs are now to be expected. The initial launch would not include the A780, A770, A350 and A310 SKUs.

Intel stated that desktop Alchemist GPUs are set to launch this summer, but the company has never provided the exact launch date.
