Intel is replacing its iconic retail packaging for Core i9-10900K CPU
Starting from February 28th, Intel will no longer be selling its 10-core Comet Lake-S processor the i9-10900K with its current retail packaging. Intel has issued a product change notification that in the future the processor will be sold in traditional folding carton rectangular packaging, similar to Core i7 or Core i5 series.
The change will affect both Universal (global) and Chinese packaging for the processor. As a result of this change, Intel will be able to increase volume for shipments from 480 to 1620 units.
