Intel Arc A7 memory clock fixed

Intel quick to patch the problem with the Arc A770 Limited Edition memory.

As reported earlier this week, some users started to experience problems with Arc A770 Limited Edition. Their cards equipped with 16GB VRAM is supposed to run at 17.5 Gbps, whereas in many instances the clock speed was lower at 16 Gbps. This had an impact on maximum bandwidth, limiting it to 512 GB/s from 560 GB/s.

Turns out this was a fixable issue and the patch has now been released with the new beta graphics driver:

Intel confirms that the issue was ‘gap on their side’ and such issues should not be seen in the future thanks to newly implemented validations.

If your Arc A770 16GB was affected by this problem, make sure to check the latest driver. It also brings ‘Game On’ support for the latest titles.
