Intel Arc A770 reviews

We have an update on Arc desktop reviews.

This information is based on the new embargo guidelines that were provided to reviewers. What is important to note is that this information may still change, and we are uncertain whether it applies to more than just one model. Intel promised simultaneous launch of A770 and A750, but this may not necessarily correlate with review embargo.

As you can, there is no information on launch date yet, but the unboxing set for September 30 and review embargoes were already shared. Typically, this means that the samples were already send out to the press and influencers and the launch date will be provided later. The reviews would go live on October 5th.

Arc A770 embargo:

  • Unboxing : 9/30 09:00 (EDT)
  • Review : 10/5 09:00 (EDT)

If those dates hold true, then A770 reviews should be published in less than 2 weeks. We don’t really see the point of unboxing embargo because the card and its box were already shown multiple times by influencers and Intel themselves.

Intel GPU team on social are claiming that new information on Arc GPUs will be provided very soon, which most likely confirms Arc update at Intel Innovation on September 27th. The company recently requested all “Xe-HPG Scavenger Hunt” who won Arc GPUs to update their shipping information, yet the shipping date was not confirmed.
