Intel Core i9-14900K to boost up to 6.0 GHz
Benchlife claims to have the full specs of the upcoming Intel 14th Gen Core K-series lineup.
Intel 14th Gen Core series are set to launch in a few months. However, the specs of the new series are often available much sooner to insiders and OEM partners, who have no issues sharing this data with the press. The media called Benchlife, who have leaked many internal data from Intel before, claims to know the full specs of the last K-series for LGA1700 platform.
The Raptor Lake-Refresh was said to deliver higher clocks across the lineup, but in some cases gamers would also get more cores. According to the report, Intel will increase clocks across the K-series SKUs by 200 MHz. The Core i9 series is said to boost up to 6.0 GHz (14900K), Core i7 should now reach 5.6 GHz (14700K) and Core i5 could now boast 5.3 GHz clocks.
In terms of core count, only Core i7-14700K would see a different configuration than the ‘original’ Raptor Lake (13700K) with new 8P+12E config. As a result, only this part will have more “Smart Cache” of 33MB (currently 30MB).

The previous report from RedGamingTech mentioned that Core i5-14600K would receive more Performance cores, but if Benchlife information is to be believed that is unfortunately incorrect. The Core i5 SKU would still rely on 6 Performance cores and, as a result, it would boast the same configuration as the original model. However, the CPU will still be 200 MHz faster (up to 5.3 GHz) assuming that the specs are true.

Intel Raptor Lake Refresh should launch in October. Initially, only the K and KF (models without integrated GPU) will be available with non-K 65W variants expected at the beginning of next year.
