Retail Intel Core i9-13900KF appears

You can buy anything with good connections.

Jeges, a member of the Overclock.net forums, claims to own an unreleased Intel Core i9-13900KF processor already, and he is not afraid to talk about it. This is the first known retail sample of the KF variant that has somehow been sold ahead of the October 20th embargo. This is also not a review sample because no KF processors were seeded to the press. Therefore, no non-disclosure-agreements apply here.

On the OCN forums, Jeges is now sharing some details on the processor. Thus far, confirmed that i9-13900KF can run at 5.7 to 5.8 GHz with a proper cooling (Arctic LiquidFreezer II 360). Furthermore, he posted a screenshot from the unfinished 10-min Cinebench R23 benchmark, which shows a 40K multi-core score, confirming previous rumors.

The Core i9-13900KF tested with MSI Z690 Unify-X motherboard had a peak 5.5 GHz all-core frequency, 292W CPU Package Power and up to 85°C temperature. All this is stock, although Intel LLC3 (Load Line Calibration) has been modified from 1.25V to 1.225V (+25 mV) for stability.

We are sure Jeges will share more details soon, after all, there is nothing stopping him from sharing more data in the next 7 days. Then we will get much more comprehensive testing from independent reviewers.
