Intel Sapphire Rapids for creators in 9 days

Looks like there will be a live event for new Xeon series.

Intel confirmed it will have a livestream event on February 15th. This means that the new series will get a proper introduction by Intel, not some kind of paper launch that we got used to seeing.

Intel Xeon W3400/2400 series are to feature an entirely new architecture, more cores and support newer standards than Xeon WS series from 3 years ago that these are replacing. As many as 17 new Xeon WS processors are planned, split between W3400 and W2400 series. Both series are to be supported by the upcoming W790 motherboards.

Just a few days ago, detailed embargo information was shared. This confirms that reviews will be posted a week after launch with actual product launch expected in March. Therefore, this event being called “Processor Launch” would technically be just an announcement.
