Intel has updated its cooling solution for LGA1200 socket.
Intel Thermal Solution
The company is unifying the design of their product packaging for the new series. The changes first appeared with Comet Lake-S processors earlier this month.
Intel’s Thermal Solution BXTS15A now officially supports LGA1200 socket for the new processors, which was noted on the updated product packaging accordingly.
Apart from all-in-one (AIO) coolers, Intel is only offering three aftermarket boxed cooling solutions for their processors, according to their own Ark website. The BXTS15A is still described as ‘designed for use with LGA-1151 K skus’. There are no details for the TDP rating of this cooler.
The cooler is listed on Amazon for around 28 USD.
