Intel entry-level GPUs getting even more affordable

Further price slashing for Intel Arc GPUs.

The 6GB version of Arc GPU based on Alchemist architecture is getting some major price cuts around the globe, not even a year since it was first available. In China, GUNNIR offered its A380 GPU at just 799 RMB (115 USD), during a limited time sale. That’s significantly lower than the initial price of 1149 RMB ($165).

Importantly, Intel Arc fans in the United States may not need to look that far to find an A380 GPU at the same price. The ASRock Challenger model is currently the lowest price for this entry-level card. It costs $120 after a recent $20 discount:

Those are currently the most affordable AV1 decoding solutions when discrete desktop GPUs are considered. Not only that, those cards ship with 6GB of VRAM, which is hardly a thing at this price in AMD or NVIDIA portfolio.

What is important is that it is not just the entry-level cards that are getting cheaper. The mid-range A750 models are now reaching their lowest prices yet, with ASRock Challenger A750 now listed at $240 and A770 with 8GB at just $270. Both cards were recently discounted by $50, giving Intel fans at least two more options under $300.
