Intel announces its developer focused event with possible product showcase

Innovation is again on Intel’s agenda. The company announces a new event set for September 27 and 28.

Intel Innovation is an event for developers focusing on AI, client computing, cloud and future innovations. While the company is making clear this is not a product launch, but rather a 2-day-long event packed with tech sessions, demos and workshops, the last event featured a product announcement as well.

This event will focus on AI, Client, Cloud and Accelerated computing, IoT and 5G networks and security. Those are the main topics listed on the event website.

More importantly, Intel confirmed that Pat Gelsinger (CEO) and Greg Lavender (CTO) will both have their own keynotes. The timing for the next Innovation happens just as we expect Intel to unveil their 13th Gen Core series codenamed “Raptor Lake”. This event, which features livestreamed keynote would indeed be a great opportunity to share what’s next.

The last edition of Innovation in October 2021, brought 12th Gen Core series codenamed Alder Lake, so there is definitely something in store for this edition as well.
