Almost the entire Intel Raptor Lake-Refresh lineup features 200 MHz higher clocks

Hardware leaker chi11eddog with good track record has now confirmed further specs of the upcoming Intel 14th Gen desktop CPUs that.

The previous list lacked information on the clocks, but the update addresses this by providing the missing data and reaffirming the lack of 6-core Core i3 in this generation.

The most noteworthy detail is that nearly the entire lineup of the 14th Gen Core series will receive a 200 MHz uplift, with the exception being the Core i5-14400 model, which will have a 100 MHz boost over the 13400. Apart from that, we can expect non-K models to boost up to 5.8 GHz on the Core i9-14900 series, marking the highest clock for 65W models. As previously leaked, the K-series will boast an impressive 6.0 GHz boost, while a special edition, yet to be confirmed by other leaks, might even reach 6.2 GHz.

An important change is that only one SKU will see a core count upgrade from 16 to 20 cores. The Core i7-14700 will now rely on 12 Efficient cores instead of 8, making it the most significant improvement over the 13th Gen series.

Moreover, the rumors about a potential 6-core Core i3-14100 turned out to be false. The updated list confirms that this part will have four cores and boost up to 4.7 GHz, reaffirming a mere 200 MHz boost without any architecture changes.

Intel is now expected to launch its 14th Gen Core series in October, the non-K models should be released early next year with a potential announcement at CES 2024.
