Raptor Lake Refresh is currently 4% pricier than the original series

Intel 14th Gen Core is now listed by first retailers in Canada.

The forthcoming update to desktop CPUs, known as the 14th Gen Core series, has been officially listed by PC Canada. All six of the upcoming K and KF models are currently available for viewing, and the prices are only slightly higher than usual at this early stage.

It’s important to note that early pricing for unreleased hardware is typically a placeholder and subject to adjustment once the series is officially launched. However, Intel has a track record of providing this kind of information to large distributors and even major retailers well in advance of consumers and often before reviewers.

The latest confirmation regarding Intel’s next-gen CPU series comes from PC Canada, which has listed the new 14, 20, and 24-core models. These CPUs are priced between $415.99 and $833.99 CAD. A quick comparison with the current pricing of the 13th Gen Core series reveals that these initial prices are surprisingly not as high as one might have anticipated, with an average increase of only 4% or a range of 2% to 7%.
