Intel 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” CPUS have been listed by Canadian retailer, i9-13900K for 726 USD

Intel 13th Gen is more expensive than 12th Gen at one Canadian retailer

First retailers have begun listing Raptor Lake CPUs.

Hardware leaker @momomo_us shared pricing info on the new Core series featuring up to 24 cores. This includes three K-series models and their variants without integrated graphics (the so-called F series).

The Core i9-13900K is listed for 941 CAD, which is around 726 USD. This is a higher price than i9-12900K from the same store who sell it for 631 USD. It is still cheaper than the KS-variant offering higher clocks (824 USD) though. Overall, the Core i9 series get a 95 to 100 USD price increase at this one retailer.

Raptor Lake i7-series are listed for 511/483 USD, which is more expensive than Alder Lake models at 436/411 USD. That’s respectively an increase of 75 USD for 1x700K model and 72 USD for SKU without integrated graphics.

Finally, new Core i5 series are listed at 355/327 USD, which is again respectively higher than predecessors at 308/259 USD (an increase of 47-68 USD).

One should note that Raptor Lake CPUs are indeed going to cost more, as Intel confirmed they will be increasing prices for consumer CPUs. However, an increase of 100 USD is very likely exaggerated by early listing.

Just a few weeks ago, a very similar leak surfaced featuring a different Canadian retailer. In that case, AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs were listed with the following prices (models without a cooler):

• AMD Ryzen 9 7950X – $1140 CAD ($892 US)
• AMD Ryzen 9 7900X – $777 CAD ($608 US)
• AMD Ryzen 7 7700X  – $613 CAD ($480 US)
• AMD Ryzen 5 7600X – $423 CAD ($330 US)

Intel is to announce 13th Gen Core series at Innovation event on September 27th. The new series are expected to officially launch in October.
