Intel Arrow Lake-S now in HWINFO

Intel’s next-gen desktop CPU series already partially supported by popular monitoring software.

HWINFO has quietly updated their software with support for Intel’s future desktop CPU series codenamed Arrow Lake-S. Little is known about these products yet, in fact, recent reports were all over the place and there is hardly anything on Arrow Lake that has been actually leaked.

The biggest Arrow Lake leak thus far was for the mobile variant, as leaked last year by AdoredTV. The slide was clearly labeled as mobile product Arrowlake-P, and it was said to offer up to 320 EU GPU cores. Nothing really as significant as this leak has happened since, apart from an LGA-1851 socket leak that clearly mentioned both Arrow and Meteor Lake products.

According to HWINFO’s upcoming changes, the software will have ‘preliminary support of Arrow Lake-S’. This likely indicates that the software will be able to distinguish CPUID and Intel product Family ID and list the CPU as Arrow Lake architecture.

Intel Arrow Lake-S is not expected to hit the market until late next year at least. The product should be accompanied by Meteor Lake-S CPUs which could have fewer cores and target a different desktop segment. Meanwhile, Arrow Lake-S CPUs could offer just as many cores as the current Raptor Lake architecture, so a hybrid of 8 Performance and 16 Efficient cores. What is worth noting is that Arrow Lake should see significant changes to the GPU architecture and support for even faster DDR5 memory (6400 MT/s).
