Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition heading to PlayStation 5 and PC

Sony announced the Complete Edition of Horizon Forbidden West, and it is coming to the PCs as well.

After the events depicted in Horizon Zero Dawn, Aloy, a skilled machine hunter, embarks on a mission to rescue the planet’s fragile biosphere from imminent collapse. Along her perilous journey, Aloy will unearth hidden truths, confront even more formidable adversaries, and venture into the perilous territories of the Forbidden West and the treacherous Burning Shores.

Horizon Forbidden West is a single-player action RPG, and its Complete Edition includes the base game set in the Forbidden West region. Additionally, it features various cosmetic enhancements and the Burning Shores DLC, which expands upon the main storyline.

Initially released for PlayStation in February 2022, Sony appears to be maintaining a two to three-year gap before bringing the game to PC, following a similar pattern to Horizon Zero Dawn, which debuted on PS4 in 2017 and arrived on PCs three years later. For Forbidden West, the PC release is part of the new Complete Edition, which will also be available on PlayStation. Sony has already extended its library of previous PS exclusives to a wider audience, including titles like Spider-Man and The Last of Us series.
