It has been a long and bumpy road for Arc GPUs. The delays and region-locking have killed the hype for many of our readers. The company is now trying to reclaim this interest and steal the spotlight from competitors by revealing more details on even faster Arc A7 series that would supposedly launch sooner than we think. However, Arc GPUs are far from ready for mass availability.
A month after GUNNIR Arc A380 Photon launched in China, the card finally becomes available for sale without a prebuilt system. Intel has not seeded this model to reviewers, which meant that many had to buy the whole PC just to test the card, others found a way to order in bulk (we will see many new reviews posted this week).

Officially, Arc A380 has a MSRP of 1030MB (153 USD), but no such card is available at this price. In fact, there are no other Arc A380 models at all – GUNNIR card is literally the only desktop Arc on sale.
Over at JD, one of the biggest retail channels in China, there is finally the official listing from GUNNIR themselves. With no 3rd parties involved, the company asks for 1299 RMB (192 USD). This is the lowest price for Arc A380 right now, but still 269 RMB higher than official MSRP for Arc A380. According to the listing, orders will be fulfilled around July 27th.
