GMK to launch Intel 14/Ultra Mini-PCs with integrated GPU as powerful as GTX 1650 Ti/RTX 3050 series
The first company officially confirms to launch next-gen Core series.
GMKtec is a Chinese manufacturer of small form factor systems based on Intel and AMD hardware. The most recent launch featured Ryzen 9 7940HS APU, which shows that GMK is among the first to launch the newest APUs from either CPU vendor. Turns out, GMK is already ahead of most brands as the company has just confirmed it to be releasing Intel 14/Ultra systems.
The collaboration with Intel China has been announced on social platform Weibo, but it lacks many details. What is said however is that GMK will introduce both Intel 14 and Ultra systems, which means both Raptor Lake Refresh and Meteor Lake products. As we know, the former will stick to the original naming schema and the 14th Gen Core series will exclusively be used by updated Raptor Lake S/HX chips.

On the other hand, The Meteor Lake processors will debut with Intel’s new branding that lacks the iconic ‘i3/i5/i7/i9’ tiers. Intel will essentially follow AMD suit by introducing simpler naming schema like Core 3/Core 5/Core7 etc. What the new naming schema also means is that it will be easier to blur the lines between different architectures. In the case of Intel’s next-gen mobile series, Raptor Lake Refresh U is also part of the new Core branding (but RPL-S and HX will not). Whichever GMK has chosen for their new systems is currently unknown.
GMK also confirmed that their systems will feature integrated graphics sitting between GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and RTX 3050 graphics up to 35W. As we already know, Meteor Lake (Core Ultra) will boast more powerful Xe-LPG architecture borrowed from the discrete Arc series.
