GIGABYTE X570 and X499 motherboards listed at EEC

MSI and Gigabyte are also developing new boards for AMD Ryzen 3000 desktop series. 

GIGABYTE X570 & X499

Gigabyte’s X570 motherboard series designed for Zen 2 architecture have been revealed by EEC. According to the listing, the manufacturer is developing the following boards:

  • X499 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE
  • X499 AORUS MASTER
  • X499 DESIGNARE EX-10G
  • X570 AORUS XTREME
  • X570 AORUS MASTER
  • X570 AORUS ULTRA
  • X570 AORUS ELITE
  • X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI
  • X570 AORUS PRO
  • X570 GAMING X

According to this leak, it will be the first time Gigabyte is planning to release their top-tier, enthusiast Master/Xtreme series for AMD platform.

More interestingly, the product name of X499 Designare EX-10G suggests that it will support 10Gbe networking. To this moment only ASRock had onboard 10Gbe connectors for Threadripper system, but it is worth noting that Asus also ships ROG Zenith Extreme with 10Gbe expansion card, only this is not an onboard solution.

MSI X570 Creation

At SiSoftware Sandra database a new MSI X570 motherboard has been discovered. The X570 Creation will be MSI’s enthusiast grade solution supporting upcoming and existing AM4 CPUs.

The motherboard has been tested with yet undisclosed quad-core AMD engineering sample (2DS104BBM4GH2_38/34_N) which could be based on Zen 2 architecture. This CPU would be clocked at 3.4 and 3.8 GHz (base and turbo respectively).
