Gigabyte submits GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to EEC
The development of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has been both challenging and time-consuming for NVIDIA. The manufacturer has already updated RTX 3080 Ti specs five times, if not more, those five updates are only the updates that we actually know of. In fact, Gigabyte had already submitted RTX 3080 Ti to EEC in late December, except that was the previous model with 20GB. The plans for the 20GB model have eventually been scrapped and last weekend we actually saw evidence that GA102-250 GPU that was originally planned for this 20GB model, has eventually been remarked to GA102-300 and sold as RTX 3090.
Nearly three months later Gigabyte submits GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to the Eurasian Economic Commission regularity office once again, except this time with 12GB memory. The latest entry to EEC features as many as 12 models, including high-end AORUS series as well as entry blower-type TURBO:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is to feature GA102-225 GPU with 10240 CUDA cores. As the EEC entry confirms, the current specs for this SKU feature 12GB GDDR6X memory across a 384-bit bus. The pricing and exact clock speeds have not been communicated to AIBs yet.
NVIDIA is now expected to launch its RTX 3080 Ti SKU in May. If there are no further delays and changes to the specs, the manufacturer is expected to unveil GA104-400 based GeForce RTX 3070 Ti in the same month.
