It appears GIGABYTE is set to launch a new X399 motherboard.
The AORUS EXTREME
While it does not say GAMING, it surely is, an AORUS motherboard. The X399 Extreme a high-end motherboard, but Extreme series are not the top-tier (those usually are GAMING 7 or 9).
The south-bridge area is covered by a fancy shroud, reminding us of ROG Zenith from ASUS. Three out of three M.2 slots are equipped with shields for better heat dissipation.
For graphics cards or other PCIe components, you have four x16 slots and one x1.
Photos from Cowcotland only give us a glimpse of the X399 AORUS Extreme since RGB lighting is turned off. Not that we care, but it’s a reminder how great looking motherboards are without those LEDs… but, do you like it?
