Gigabyte outs RTX 4070 Ti WindForce series
Possibly, the most affordable RTX 4070 Ti design from Gigabyte yet.
The company introduces a sixth design for RTX 4070 Ti SKU from NVIDIA. Gigabyte’s RTX 40 lineup already includes two AORUS models, Eagle and Gaming SKUs and also a white-themed AERO model. The new WindForce card is an entirely new design that has not been used by any card before.
Although the company did not share pricing information, we can assume that this will be of the cheapest, if not the cheapest design, which is typically where WindForce models end up these days. But being at the lowest tier does not necessarily mean bad. In fact, even this card has three fans, which means that none of the Gigabyte 4070 Ti cards has less than three. Furthermore, this card is factory tuned to operate at 2625 MHz boost frequency, so it comes with a minor 15 MHz overclock.

The design is two and half slots high (50 mm) and has a standard display connector configuration of three DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1. There is one 16-pin power connector located on the side. If official specs are considered, then this card is definitely not a premium 4070 Ti designs. It ships with a dual 8-pin to 16-pin power adapter, so no more than 300W of power will go through the connector.

Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC (GV-N407TWF3OC-12GD) does not appear to be in stock at any retailer yet. This is a new release though, so it will take a week or two before we get better idea on how much will it cost.
