Gigabyte Radeon RX 6900 XT

AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card is set to launch in 5 days. Board partners are currently now allowed to show their custom design, so instead, we are getting more pictures of their reference models.

As of this moment, you are looking at Gigabyte’s fastest Radeon graphics card. The Radeon RX 6900 XT features the full-fat Navi 21 XTX GPU with 5120 Stream Processors. Just like the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800, this model is equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, paired with 128MB of Infinity Cache.

With a boost clock of 2250 MHz, this graphics card will offer up to 23.04 TFLOPs of compute power. What is worth reminding is that RX 6900 XT has the same boost clock frequency and the same board power of 300W. The difference is that AMD recommends an 850W power unit for the RX 6900XT while the cut-down model officially requires a 750W power supply.

The RX 6900 XT features four display connectors, including a pair of DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C:

In terms of customization (if there is even such a thing for reference models), this RX 6900 XT from Gigabyte features a sticker with the company’s logo right on top of the LED Radeon logo locked at the side.

AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT will officially go on sale on December 8th at the price of 999 USD. This model will compete with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card which currently retails at a minimum of 1499 USD.
