Gigabyte has unveiled its fourth VISION graphics card based on NVIDIA Ampere architecture. This model features GA104-200 GPU from the RTX 3060 Ti graphics card model.
Gigabyte has a new VISION
The RTX 3060 Ti VISION OC is a factory-overclocked model to 1755 MHz which appears to be an average clock speed for customs designs based on this NVIDIA SKU. Compared to the RTX 3070, the new VISION model features the same triple-fan WindForce 3X cooling solution, however, for the first time Gigabyte has brought this cooler in a true 2-slot design. Previous models such as RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 were all 2.5 to 3-slot designs.
The graphics card features a full custom PCB with dual power connectors. Unlike many other custom designs, this card features 8-pin and 6-pin power connectors, which theoretically provides as much as 300W of power for the whole card when PCIe power is also considered. Naturally, this model will not consume this much power, but the power envelope for potential manual overclocking is certainly improved. Sadly, Gigabyte does not list TGP values for its graphics cards, hence it is unclear how much more power the graphics card needs compared to the Founders Edition.
Another interesting aspect of this model is the display output configuration. Unlike reference design, this card features dual DisplayPort 1.4 and dual HDMI 2.1 ports. Sadly there are no USB Type-C on this card, despite the VISION series being targeted for content creators.
Gigabyte has not yet confirmed when will this model will be available for sale, it has only just appeared on the company website this week.
