Gigabyte Unveils Unusual Low Profile GPU with Triple Fans

Gigabyte has finally confirmed our leak featuring a very unusual graphics card.

GPU enthusiasts are accustomed to seeing low profile GPUs with one or two fans, but Gigabyte has just revealed an innovative design featuring three fans. This unique card is based on the GeForce RTX 4060 SKU from NVIDIA, which sits at the lowest end of the lineup in terms of performance.

The AD107 based model of the GeForce RTX 4060 boasts remarkably low power requirements, staying under 115W in its default setup. While this is still more power than the PCIe slot can provide on its own, the card comes equipped with an 8-pin power connector, similar to other RTX 4060 models on the market.

However, that’s where the similarities end. Known officially as “RTX 4060 OC Low Profile 8G (GV-N4060OC-8GL),” this Gigabyte card features an incredibly slim design, standing at a mere height of 69 mm. Moreover, it measures just 40 mm in thickness and 182 mm in length, making it one of the smallest RTX 40 series cards available today.

The uniqueness of this GPU doesn’t stop there. The model comes with a factory overclock, boosting its clock speed to 2475 MHz, which is only 15 MHz above the official specifications. Additionally, for those seeking a capable GPU for extended display connectivity or home theater PCs, Gigabyte has included a custom display configuration. The card is equipped with two stacked DisplayPort 1.4a and two HDMI 2.1a connectors, allowing users to replace the I/O bracket to meet half-height specifications, adding to the card’s rarity within the GeForce RTX series.

Surely, this will be one of the most interesting cards this generation, and something many enthusiasts were waiting for. Gigabyte has not yet confirmed pricing or release date for this card, but we are hearing it should become available later this month.
