Gigabyte had been building anticipation for its forthcoming Z790 motherboard series, specifically designed to complement the upcoming Intel Core CPUs. It was evident that the company had expected Intel to unveil this series during their Innovation event, but this unveiling did not happen. Consequently, Gigabyte had to request reviewers to conceal any details pertaining to the new CPU series on the packaging and motherboards they had received as initially intended.

While the existence of Intel’s 14th Gen CPU lineup is no secret at this point, it marks a moment that first board partner is now officially confirming the existence of the 14th Gen series.
