GALAX to enter high-speed memory market with their HOF series

It is reported that GALAX will soon release its DDR5 memory offering speeds 6800 MT/s and higher.

Just as this year has started, memory manufacturers have begun sharing the news on high-speed upcoming memory kits. Frequencies above 7000 MT/s are no longer out of reach for customers, however support for such memory may be limited to Intel platform for now.

As promised, GALAX China showcased their DDR5 memory at the beginning of this year. This week the company confirmed that the memory should launch very soon, and it will introduce 16GBx2 kits featuring 6800, 7200 and 8000 MT/s speeds.

The memory is to feature two types of PCB, either black or white, matching the theme of the GALAX HOF GPUs. Each module will be equipped with a stylish white and silver heatsink with an ARGB LED strip.

The series’ appearance continues to use a consistent silver and white color scheme, and the brand-new white heat dissipation cover adopts the electrophoretic coating process. The iconic bright silver HOF LOGO can be seen from different angles.

GALAX did not confirm the release date yet, apart from saying it will be available soon through Chinese e-commerce sites. This is also when we will learn the pricing.
