GALAX launches its first RTX 40 GPU with All-in-One cooling solution
The RTX 4090 HYDRO White has been announced.
GALAX has quietly released a new graphics card based on the flagship NVIDIA RTX 40 SKU, the RTX 4090. This graphics card is not actually part of the HOF (Hall of Fame) family, so it should not be considered flagship. However, from the design standpoint and specs, there is no question that we are looking at a high-end GPU.
The HYDRO White is equipped with a 360mm external radiator and 50 cm long tubes. Although the cooling is handled by the radiator, the card is not the smallest either. Instead of a standard 13.5 cm width (height of the I/O bracket), the card is actually 15 cm wide, probably because this model uses GALAX-customized board design, although this part was not pictured.

According to the official website, this model has a full-cover aluminum alloy backplate, and there are no fans on the card itself. The low-profile water pump is hidden under a polygonal-shaped shroud, with practically no air exhaust anywhere on the card. The heat dissipation will be handled by the 360mm radiator with three dual-bearing 120mm fans.

GALAX confirms that RTX 4090 Hydro will ship with a 2580 MHz clock, which is not the highest clock from other AIO solutions. It falls short compared to Colorful iGame Neptune (2640 MHz), MSI Suprim X Liquid (2640 MHz), but it is faster than Gigabyte’s AORUS Waterforce (2565 MHz) and matches Inno3D iChill Black (2580 MHz). One thing is clear, there is a lot of choice in AIO solutions for RTX 4090, and it looks like the GALAX White edition will not be the only one, as the company is also set to announce a black edition later:
