GALAX RTX 4090 20th Edition in two color options
GALAXY preps not one but two commemorative designs for its 20th anniversary.
The company has launched a new edition derived from the previously revealed 20th Anniversary Edition. This model features a distinctive 3-slot design incorporating three fans, with one positioned on the opposite side. This model has some innovative design choices, such as a hidden power connector, which is not yet common among 12VHPWR models.
The Carbon Fiber Edition has a front panel covered with ‘carbon fiber material’, certainly does not seem it is actually carbon fiber. This 20th Anniversary graphics card features 2x 10cm 20th-anniversary exclusive fans on the front, ensuring quiet and stable operation. On the other side, one will find a smaller 90 cm fan for effective heat dissipation.

The Carbon Fiber Edition is actually a bit faster than the normal variants. The boost clock has been increased to 2610 MHz from 2595 MHz, so not a major increase. In fact, if we look at the official specs (bear in mind both were posted in the same post), the Carbon Edition actually has lower max TGP (Total Graphics Power) at 510W. The ‘white’ model has 516W TGP.

As per GALAX, the 20th Anniversary models are scheduled for launch tomorrow at 8 PM China time. Enthusiasts looking to acquire these cards should be prepared to invest a minimum of 20,000 RMB ($2,743) for the white model or 21,000 RMB for the Carbon Edition ($2,880).
GALAX has officially confirmed the release of these cards on JD, TMall, and WeChat e-tail platforms in China. Unfortunately, for consumers in other markets, there is no way to purchase these cards officially. The company has stated that there are no intentions for a global launch, but it’s important to remember that these cards are specifically commemorating 20 years of GALAX’s operation in China, and not the global brand.
