GALAX GeForce RTX 3060 LHR (1-Click OC)

The first LHR model on sale in South Korea.

GALAX RTX 3060 LHR has been listed on Oversystem website with a price tag of 1,080,000 KRW (966 USD):

It is probably worth noting that we did not expect RTX 3060 to carry an LHR badge. NVIDIA officially announced that LHR series will include RTX 3080, RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti, but RTX 3060 already had decreased hash rate performance, thus there was no need to include the SKU into new LHR series. Thankfully, to avoid confusion at least some board partners decided to treat updated RTX 3060 model as LHR, which should simplify the process of deciding which graphics card to buy.

The RTX 3060 LHR should offer identical performance to the non-LHR variant. Technically they both offer a limited hash rate, but the LHR variant carries a new GPU called GA106-302. This revision update will ensure that no existing hash rate limiter removing tricks would work with this card, as it carries a different PCI Device ID, forcing the use of a new driver. This actually the first time we get to see GA10X-X02 GPU, as GALAX published the first photos of this new variant:

As announced by NVIDIA, all LHR models will have to be clearly labeled on the packaging and in the product description. This has been the case with this model as well.

Overall there are no visual changes from the non-LHR variant. This model called “1-Click OC” is the least powerful variant in the GALAX lineup. Out of the box, it offers a base clock of 1777 MHz, which NVIDIA reference spec, but it can be automatically increased with Xtreme Tuner software to 1792 MHz at each system startup.
