GALAX HOF GH130 is rated for 1300W nominal power and peak up to 2600W. This is a premium product set to compete with power units such as  MSI Ai1300P, also rated for 1300W power and compliant with ATX 3.0 specs. Similarly, GALAX PSU is also certified for 80PLUS Platinum efficiency, which confirms 92% at half the load.

This PSU is designed for overclockers, which means that unlike most ATX 3.0/PCIe Gen5 ready supplies, this one comes with two 16-pin power connectors. Coincidentally, GALAX also sells the only RTX 4090 on the market that actually requires two such cables, the RTX 4090 HOF, which has a power limit up to 666W.

The launch of this power supply marks Galax’s entrance into the new PC market segment. The company already offers graphics cards, motherboards, memory, and storage. The GH1300 is now available on Chinese e-tail platforms at a starting price of 1899 RMB ($275), which is around 24% cheaper than MSI Ai1300P.
