First MSI B650 motherboards for Ryzen 7000 CPUs are now listed for at least 199 USD

MSI B650 pricing starts at 199 USD

Large US retailer confirms first prices for AMD B650 ‘budget’ series.

It seems that MSI AMD 600-series pricing does not get lower than 199 USD, suggest a new leak from B&H Photo Video. This retailer now has 7 new AMD B650 motherboards listed along with their prices. None of the boards is the B650E (Extreme) variant, which means we finally have some idea how much could the cheapest motherboards with AM5 socket really cost.

According to this list, the most affordable model is PRO B650M-A Wi-Fi at 200 USD. The median price is 240 USD, with the most expensive board is part of the MPG series at 330 USD.

Customers may choose between Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and standard ATX form factors. The offer includes PRO, MAG and MPG series, but obviously the MEG series will remain exclusive to X670 boards.

In late August, when AMD announced its new Ryzen 7000 CPUs and brand new AM5 platform, AMD promised that the pricing for new motherboards should start at 125 USD. We are yet to see this price for AMD B650 series, but there is still hope because. AMD and board partners are not to reveal full details on B650 series before October 4th.
