European retailers slash prices of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, now 6% cheaper in less than a week

Delaying the inevitable, RTX 4060 price drops by 6%

NVIDIA RTX 4060 on a path to reach €299 soon.

The newly released RTX 4060 non-Ti graphics card has failed to make a strong impression among gamers, confirming earlier predictions. The situation is particularly evident in Europe, where gamers remain unconvinced by its offerings. In response to lukewarm demand, retailers across the continent have swiftly resorted to offering discounts on custom RTX 4060 cards.

Leading the charge is German Mindfactory, which currently lists the RTX 4060 at a reduced price of €310. Not to be outdone, French retailer Hardware.fr has also followed suit, offering the same MSI Ventus 2X model for €309 when applicable coupons are used. This reduction represents a noteworthy 6% drop in price within a mere six days since the card’s initial release.

The MSI Ventus 2X model is one of the ‘MSRP’ cards that initially launched at €329 just a week ago. However, it appears that retailers are facing difficulties in garnering sufficient interest at the original price point. As a result, they have been compelled to lower prices in hopes of stimulating demand and attracting more buyers.

Thus far, no price drops have been observed in the US, with the price remaining at $299 since launch.
