Amazon confirms retail packaging design for Alder Lake CPUs

Dutch Amazon has started listing 12th Gen Core Intel CPUs.

The flagship 16-core CPU named Core i9-12900K is now listed at 847 EUR with 21% VAT.  A Core i7-12700K model is now offered for 641 EUR while Core i5-12600K has a price tag of 324 EUR. Those are all K-series models with integrated GPUs enabled.

The listings only mention clocks of 3.2 GHz for 12900K, 3.6 GHz for 12700K, and 3.7 GHz for 12600K. It is unclear what those clocks are because they do not match rumored base clocks for Efficient cores in each of the models.

Intel is expected to launch its K and KF Alder Lake-S desktop series on November 4th. The listing on Dutch Amazon, therefore, appears nearly a month sooner. According to previous reports, 12th Gen Core will go on sale on October 28th, so we expect more retailers to be listing the CPUs very soon.

Update: pricing from Amazon France and UK has been leaked as well (source):
