Cyberpunk 2077 with DLAA and Ray Reconstruction
DLSSTweaks is a versatile tool designed to augment existing implementations of NVIDIA’s upscaling technology DLSS in various games. It achieves this by altering or replacing the existing profiles, providing users with enhanced flexibility. With DLSSTweaks, users have the liberty to select the scaling method for each profile or even opt out of upscaling altogether. In cases where upscaling is disabled, the DLSS algorithm operates in a manner similar to DLAA, focusing solely on the anti-aliasing aspect of the AI-powered algorithm.
DLAA primarily caters to games which already enjoy excellent performance, as it can noticeably enhance visual quality. Although the latest update for Cyberpunk 2077 might not be the ideal game for implementing DLAA, there is always a subset of gamers who either prefer not to use upscaling or simply enjoy tinkering with DLSS settings. For these users, the mod created by ’emoose’ is a valuable tool worth trying out.

The Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update has introduced DLSS 3 with Ray Reconstruction to a wide audience of gamers who already own the game. Unlike Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction is compatible with all RTX GPUs, including those from the 20 and 30 series. The developer of the mod reports that the latest iteration of Ray Reconstruction provides gamers with the ability to adjust scales, effectively offering the option to maintain a scale of 1 and enforce DLAA as part of the process.

For users interested in enabling DLAA, it’s important to adjust the settings accordingly; otherwise, the mod will not function as intended. To activate DLAA, users must enable the “ForceDLAA” option in the INI file. This action effectively transforms all DLSS profiles into DLAA, matching the upscaling portion to the native resolution.
The DLAA setting within the tool takes precedence over all DLSS profiles within the game. Essentially, when DLAA with RR is activated, it performs similarly to having DLSS disabled, but it retains the anti-aliasing (AA) component. Given Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 update demanding GPU requirements, gamers may find it beneficial to fine-tune DLSS profiles to achieve better performance. However, for users with powerful GPUs capable of simultaneously running DLAA and RR, this approach might offer a superior gaming experience. The list of potential users may be short, but those gamers with RTX 4090 and 1080p resolution may still be interested.
