CPU-Z now supports Intel’s upcoming 13th Gen Core HX/HK/H CPUs, Core i7-13700H & i5-13500H listed

CPU-Z supports Intel 13th Gen Core mobile CPUs

The latest CPU-Z update brings support for Intel unreleased mobile CPUs. 

Interestingly, this update is not yet available on the official software website, but it was discovered that the patch went live on the TechPowerUP page. An update labeled as 2.03.1 is only providing support for Intel new CPUs, each listed by its name.

This patch brings support for all rumored 45W and 55W SKUs, including the H, HK and HX variants. Therefore, this might suggest that they are all launching together, which is a bit surprising to say the least. This means that HX desktop-class (BGA) mobile series would be upgraded in less than a year.

There are some new parts listed as well. The Core i7-13700H and Core i5-13500H have not been mentioned before, but their HK/HX variants were already spotted running various benchmarks.

Just as AMD’s new Ryzen 7000 series naming schema, Intel Core H/HK/HX product lineup will also force customers to think twice. Some gamers will have a tough decision choosing the flagship HX series, unlocked HK CPUs or all-round performing H-series instead.

The company is set to announce its 13th Gen Core mobile series at CES 2023, along with the remaining SKUs from the desktop lineup.
