Radeon RX 6600 XT retail price expected between 499 to 549 EUR
The actual street price of the Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card may be a lot higher expected, Cowcotland reports.
Graphics cards’ MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) or SEP (Suggested E-tail Price) have clearly lost their meaning and importance due to ongoing problems with GPU supply. For as long as customers are willing to pay more to receive the product faster, the retailers will continue to sell it at a higher price.
There are instances, however, in which the product can still be purchased at MSRP, that is if the product is purchased directly from the manufacturer or from a store that signed a bilateral deal with the manufacturer. In both instances, this means queueing up to physical stores or pathetically waiting for GPUs to appear in stock.
Meanwhile, the vast majority of gamers will be choosing their local retailers, who will undoubtedly ask more than MSRP. Cowcotland has reached out to their sources in regard to the upcoming RX 6600 XT launch. It is said that the card is expected to cost from 499 EUR (588 USD) up to 549 EUR (645 USD), with a very limited stock to be sold at MSRP.
According to Moore’s Law is Dead, the official price of Radeon RX 6600 XT is expected to be around 349 to 379 USD with reportedly much better availability than previous RX 6000 series launches. Our sources made it clear though, that MSRP has not been decided yet. The card is now expected to be announced on July 30th with availability now planned for August 11th.
