Colorful RTX 4070 iGame Ultra Z and RTX 4060 Ti iGame Mini teased
Colorful’s solution to cable management.
Colorful has fast-forwarded its plans to release the RTX 4070 graphics card model with a cleverly hidden power connector, as showcased at Computex. Instead of placing the connector on the side and forcing gamers to purchase unnecessary power adapters, the company has ingeniously integrated the connector beneath a removable backplate.
The backplate is attached using magnets, eliminating the need for screws and making GPU uninstallation a breeze, just as it was before. Additionally, there’s no requirement for expensive braided cables, as the primary goal is to hide the cable in the first place.

However, it’s important to note that this solution might not be suitable for all systems, considering the card’s length and the cable placement. For demonstration purposes, Colorful is showcasing the card with a DIY-APE motherboard design (CVN B760M-BACK FROZEN WIFI V20), which features a custom form factor designed to hide the cables efficiently. The good news is that Ultra Z offers 8-pin power connectors, so any 12VHWPR melting and bending related issues are of no major concern.
The RTX 4070 Ultra Z graphics card has now been listed by Colorful at 5999 RMB, which is exactly 900 RMB pricier than the original Ultra-White (Ultra-W) with standard power connectors. Worth adding that this model is factory-overclocked to 2505 MHz (1.2% OC).

Apart from the RTX 4070, Colorful is also teasing another exciting model—the RTX 4060 Ti, which belongs to the iGame family. Gamers can expect higher quality and enhanced performance, possibly with factory-overclocking. It’s worth mentioning that Colorful has already showcased the RTX 4060 Mini, although it was not part of the iGame lineup.
