Colorful reveals a white edition of the iGame Vulcan GPU

The new version will be available for RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 SKUs.

In December, we have seen numerous graphics cards featuring a white color scheme. Board partners have clearly taken a note from sales, white GPUs are gaining popularity among PC enthusiasts, which is why many of the existing models are getting a facelift.

Colorful is set to announce its RTX 40 Vulcan GPU with a new color theme this week. This is a final product that was previously seen as a prototype of iGame OC Lab Edition. This theme will apply to RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 models, which are using the same cooler design, despite using different GPUs (AD102 and AD103).

These cards are equipped with a triple-fan design, 3.5-slot cooler, full cover backplate and single 16-pin power connectors. Nothing extraordinary here for a custom RTX 40 GPU. But what is special about the Vulcan series is the detachable color screen, which can display GPU information as well as custom animations. This screen can be attached to the card with magnetic pogo pins or placed on a desk on a USB powered stand.

According to ITHome, Vulcan White will go on sale tomorrow, likely exclusively through Chinese retailers. There is no word on pricing yet, but potential customers should be prepared to pay extra, as Vulcan GPUs tend to be on a pricier side.
