Advertisement for the upcoming Radeon RX 6000 cards shows up before launch
AMD Radeon RX 6×50 graphics card launch is no imminent.
It appears that Canada Computers & Electronics has become the first retailer to confirm the upcoming Radeon RX 6000 series reference design. This of course is not the first time we see the cards themselves, though, as they were leaked by us earlier this month.
The retailer has put an ad for the new cards, but the link does not lead to any card yet. This probably wasn’t supposed to go live this soon:

The design matches exactly what we posted before, three reference coolers kept in black color scheme, some of which updated with more fans. It is still unclear if all of these cards will go on sale, though. This time around, AMD is seemingly focusing on supplying its board partners, and there is plenty of evidence that new cards are already in stock.

AMD Radeon RX 6×50 XT series refresh will include three SKUs. The main update is the faster memory speed, supposedly 17.5 to 18 Gbps depending on the SKU. The flagship RX 6950XT card is also to get higher TDP of 350W, which is even more than RX 6900XT Liquid Edition. This model is to compete with recently launched GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.
All three cards are set to launch on May 10th, but the pricing has not yet been confirmed.
