AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution in COD: Vanguard?

The Beta of Call of Duty Vanguard, the latest installment in the series, is now available to people who preordered the game.

This weekend COD: V will have an open beta for every person willing to test the new game. Currently, it is only now available to people who preordered the game on PS5, XBOX Series XS/One, and PC. Gamers were already quick to discover that AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution is actually listed in the game files.

Noted, this does not guarantee that Sledgehammer Gamers will enable the technology, but judging from how easy it is to implement, there is no reason why they shouldn’t at this point.

Interestingly, NVIDIA DLSS has not been announced or even listed in the game’s files, despite the technology being available to COD: Warzone and Cold War, a predecessor to Vanguard.

During this weekend (September 18 – 20) the game will be open to all players. It is a good opportunity to test the game if it will run smoothly on your system. The recommended system configuration lists NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56.
