Chinese water cooling equipment manufacturer is already showing off its water blocks for Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6900 series.

AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT has a different PCB than RX 6800

The company today revealed the design of its new Radeon water blocks. The product page also includes the exact PCB diagrams for Radeon RX 6900 XT and RX 6800 series.

It is revealed that both PCBs are slightly different, hence two water blocks had to be designed by Bykski. The RX 6900XT water block measures 262.70 x 135.71 x 22.99 mm, while the RX 6800 water block is 240.30 x 96.85 x 21.73 mm. The backplates are also of different dimensions (241.34 x ? x 3.00 mm vs 263.73 x 105.08 x 3.00 mm). It is pretty obvious that the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 have slightly shorter and narrower PCBs. The 6800 water block will be compatible with both models, but it won’t support the RX 6900 XT.

Both water blocks are currently listed at the price of 628 Yuans which is around 95 USD. AMD is set to launch its RX 6800 series on November 18th, while the RX 6900 XT graphics card is expected on December 8th.

The manufacturer also released the PCB diagrams of both RX 6900XT and RX 6800 XT showing differences between the two boards. We are not sure if these are pure reference designs, as the PCB lack, for instance, the USB Type-C connector.
