We have the first photo of the upcoming Z490 motherboard.

BIOSTAR Z490 Racing GTA

The new BIOSTAR RACING GTA motherboard features two PCIe x16 3.0 reinforced slots (so no 4.0 support), three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots and two M.2 devices. Additionally, it has six SATA3 ports.  In terms of networking it is equipped with Intel i219V Gigabit LAN and WiFi 6 wireless card.

The Z490 chipset is designed for 10th Gen Core Come Lake-S processors (especially the Core i9-10900K, which is rumored to have a TDP of 125W). This means that the 400 series motherboards have a new socket called LGA1200.

Compared to Z390, it appears that Z490 supports memory up to 2933 MHz non-overclocked memory, while Z390 had 2666 MHz support. Of course, this motherboard also supports overclocked memory up to 4400 MHz.
