ASUS preparing a new TUF Gaming RTX 40 card

ASUS is set to introduce a new graphics card based on the GeForce RTX series.

To curb your enthusiasm, there is nothing so far indicating that this could be the next-gen midrange update, aka GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU. NVIDIA has thus far not provided any release date for this new card, so there is no reason for ASUS to announce a new GPU based on this SKU this soon.

On the other hand, the official teaser appears to suggest that this might be a new TUF Gaming GPU, possibly a new version of what was already shown with the most recent launch, the RTX 4070.

ASUS also announced a giveaway of this new SKU specifically, but the only way to win is to guess the name of the card. Since there is a TUF RTX 4070 card already, one could guess ASUS is preparing a new version, possibly a new color scheme or with fewer fans (thus far all RTX 40 TUF models were triple-fan).

The announcement is now planned for May 10th and there will be a livestream. If you have any guesses what ASUS might show, make sure to leave your thoughts under the tweet.
