It is no longer a secret that on May 11th Intel will officially launch its new Tiger Lake-H processors for high-end gaming laptops. We expect a wide range of laptops from ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte, and many other brands. The new CPU series will be a major step for Intel in its mobile market presence, which has been stagnant for many years. The new Tiger Lake 8-core H-series processors will use 10nm SuperFin architecture, support PCIe Gen4, and will be paired with NVIDIA’s latest GeForce RTX 30 graphics.

Unlike MSI or Gigabyte, which are mainly focusing on refreshing their existing designs, ASUS will be launching two completely new laptops exclusively for Tiger Lake-H. It is worth noting that ASUS had already revealed its 2021 lineup with AMD Ryzen 5000H series back in January. The ROG Zephyrus G14 and G15 are exclusively available with AMD CPUs. The manufacturer also surprisingly added ROG Zephyrus Duo to this list and previously only available with Intel CPUs.

The ROG Zephyrus M16 will be ASUS’s first 16-inch laptop and its second model to feature a 16:10 aspect ratio screen (the first was X13 Flow). On the other hand, we have S17 with its new titled keyboard design. This feature is similar to the dual-screen Zephyrus Duo, but instead of the secondary screen, it is the keyboard that is being titled at a comfortable angle.

Both laptops will officially launch on May 11th during a special live stream. While the event focuses on these two Tiger Lake laptops, the manufacturer will also reveal new gaming peripherals for their fans.
