ASUS is the first brand to showcase its custom RX 7900 GPU.

The company has no details, such as specs or pricing, but the design is ready. It’s a triple-slot design with a full metal backplate. It will ship with dual-BIOS switch.

This design will be used for both Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT GPUs. ASUS is confirming that this model will require triple 8-pin power connectors, so one more than the AMD reference design. What is important to note here is that those are standard power connectors, no adapters will be required. The new TUF Radeon series are the first gaming cards from ASUS to support DisplayPort 2.1 technology.

ASUS TUF RX 7900XTX is to feature 12288 cores and 24GB of GDDR6 memory, while RX 7900XT will offer 10752 cores and 20GB memory.

Pricing for Radeon RX 7000 TUF is not confirmed, but given the fact that TUF series are usually priced at or very close to MSRP, those should be relatively cheap custom designs alternative to AMD reference cards. ASUS confirms that these cards will become available in December.
