Here’s another set of photos of the upcoming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model.
ASUS RTX 3060 Ti TUF Gaming
We have already heard that ASUS is preparing a TUF Gaming model of the RTX 3060 Ti, but only know we were able to obtain the photos of the card in question. Overall, it appears that the design of the cooler is identical to the RTX 3070 TUF Gaming. The heatsink is identical and the card appears to be using the same board design.
As mentioned before, both RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti are using the same GA104 GPU. However, the former is 220W SKU while the latter is 200W. For that reason, some changes to the power delivery components were made. We can see those changes by looking at the layout of the capacitors on the back. More importantly, unlike the RTX 3070 TUF, the RTX 3060 Ti version will only feature a single 8-pin power connector instead of two. The cooler design retains a triple-fan configuration and a thickness of 2.5-slots.
NVIDIA will officially unveil its GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model on December 2nd. The RTX 3060 Ti TUF GAMING OC (the overclocked variant) should cost a little bit over NVIDIA suggested retail price which is expected to be 399 USD. On the other hand, the TUF non-OC might be closer to that price point.
