ASUS CMP 30HX mining card

ASUS mining card to launch in May.

We received photos of the upcoming cryptocurrency mining card from ASUS. This model features the same design as GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER DUAL EVO series, but there are some minor changes. First and foremost, this graphics card lacks any display output capability. There are no display connectors on the I/O bracket, which renders this card useless for any gaming task.

The CMP 30HX features a dual-fan and 2.7-slot design. The thickness of this model is certainly not something we expected from a mining card, but it should be compatible with the most popular mining cases.

In terms of specifications, ASUS does not mention Turing TU116-100 GPU, but this was already confirmed through other sources. This model has a base clock of 1530 MHz and a boost clock of 1785 MHz. The 6GB GDDR6 memory is clocked at 14 Gbps. These are of course the exact same specs as GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER, on which this model is based on.

The mining card is equipped with a single 8-pin power connector and measures 24.cm in length. What we found particularly interesting is that this model still features an ARGB lighting strip on the side. According to the source, the ASUS CMP 30HX mining card will launch in May for around 799 USD.

Many thanks to DBS CONSTRUCTION for the pictures!
