ASRock has now confirmed it will indeed launch a 16GB version of its Phantom Gaming model based on Intel A770 SKU.

Newegg was the one to leak information about the graphics card, listing it earlier than ASRock officially acknowledged the existence of such a model. As we reported, there aren’t many 16GB variants of the A770 GPU available, but ASRock seems to have acquired a good deal on this SKU after Intel discontinued its Limited Edition (aka reference model).

The Arc A770 Phantom Gaming 16GB OC boasts almost identical specifications to the 8GB model, with a GPU clock of 2.2 GHz, a dual 8-pin power connector, and a weight of 1.1kg. Both models also come equipped with three fans and a 2.8-slot cooling design. The primary difference lies in the memory capacity and speed. ASRock has now confirmed that their A770 offers 17.5 Gbps memory, matching the speed of the Limited Edition and other 16GB AIB models.

According to Newegg, who was the first to list the card, this model is scheduled for release on July 28th, which coincides with the date of the first shipment. The price is set at $329, slightly below the official MSRP for this model ($349), making it the same price as the A770 8GB variant at launch.
