ASRock preparing a plethora of Intel 600 series motherboards
We received a list of upcoming ASRock motherboards.
The list offers a confirmation on upcoming chipset names, such as the flagship Z690 platform for high performance and overclocking, a feature-rich mid-range series such as H670 or B660 chipsets, and entry-level models based on the H610 chipset.
ASRock will be rolling out a large number of Z690 Phantom Gaming motherboards, including Gaming 4 and their subvariants with wireless network cards, Phantom Gaming Velocita, and Riptide series. There is also an ITX motherboard coming.
The Z690 Extreme and Steel Legend series will feature two models with and without WiFi 6E network cards. Those motherboards are expected to look identical bar the different aesthetics. ASRock will also be rolling out the PRO RS series based on Z690 and B660 chipsets as well as Pro 4 for its entry-level B660 and H610 series. The budget H-series and C-series models are also to be expected, those are the least equipped models offering lackluster overclocking potential and limited connectivity options.
Along with Z690 Phantom Gaming ITX with Thunderbolt 4, the ITX form factor will be offered for all four chipsets, except not under the Phantom Gaming series. That’s what the early list of motherboards seems to suggest.
The early list lacks Taichi, Aqua, and OC Formula series, indicating that those are launching a bit later or they are still under active development.
