Arc Control is a full GPU software stack for gamers and creators
Intel Graphics entry into the PC gaming market just couldn’t happen without a good GPU companion software.
Intel Arc Control is a GPU management software for driver download and game optimizations for Arc and Xe Iris GPUs. It competes with software such as NVIDIA GeForce Experience or AMD Radeon Software, both have been updated for years now and have been proven useful for many time consuming tasks.

NVIDIA and AMD have been going above and beyond to add as many features gamers would want as possible. However, this is often making the software unnecessary complicated or overengineered by adding features that are already available elsewhere (think NVIDIA NIS) or later force companies to offer ‘minimal’ installation options (like Radeon Software) due to overgrown stack of features.
Intel Arc is here to stay as a third big GPU software, taking control over the most important graphics card features, such as downloading the latest drivers or optimizing game settings for the best experience. This software, just as AMD’s, will not require users to log in.

Intel went a few steps further by adding performance monitoring and overclocking options into the software. The Arc Control will have a built-in telemetry overlay that can be opened through a simple Alt + O shortcut. It should be noted that overclocking featuring will only be available to desktop GPUs though.

Intel Arc Control will also support video streaming through the built-in creator studio. This also includes Intel Virtual Camera technology that adds some artificial intelligence magic to retain focus or add background blur to live captured videos.
This, combined Arc GPU’s AV1 encoding will definitely not go unnoticed by gamers who also like to stream content at the highest quality. The AV1 is a new open standard with 20% higher efficiency over HEVC (H.265) or 50% over H.264. A demo of this in action can be found here.
